One way through which you can ease a toothache is by taking some warm salt water. You can do this by mixing half a spoon of common salt in a glass of hot water. Once the salt has completely dissolved, you can gurgle the water thoroughly. By doing so, the swelling and inflammation of your tooth will reduce thereby relieving the toothache. The salt solution also helps in fighting bacteria that cause infections hence reducing the chances of having a tooth infection.

When you suffer from tooth sensitivity, a mixture of pepper and salt can be of great use in relieving the tooth discomfort. Considering that both ingredients have antibacterial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, they work together in ensuring that your tooth sensitivity issue is minimized. To do this, you only have to mix the salt and pepper in equal amounts then add a few drops of water to form a paste. The next step is to apply the paste on the affected tooth and leave it to sit for a few minutes then wash it off. For excellent results, you may need to apply for a few more days then you will be assured of some relief from tooth sensitivity.

The other tip in relieving toothache is by using garlic. Regarding the fact that it acts as an antibiotic and has other medicinal properties, you will be assured of immense toothache relief. To do this, you can crush a garlic clove into a paste or use garlic powder, depending on your preference, then mix it with some table salt. You can then apply the mixture to the affected tooth to relieve pain. You can as well opt to chew one or two pieces of the garlic clove. Onions too can be used to ease a toothache as they have antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that help in relieving pain. To do this, you can chew a raw piece of onion, or if you have trouble with chewing, you can place the piece on the affected tooth for a few minutes. The onion will provide relief by killing the germs causing the infection.
